WORUM ES GEHT
Vom 31.08. — 08.09.2022 findet in Karlsruhe die 11. Vollversammlung des Ökumenischen Rates der Kirchen (ÖRK) statt.
In altbewährter ökumenischer Kooperation zwischen der Altkatholischen Gemeinde und der evang. Karl-Friedrich-Gemeinde werden wir in dieser Zeit mehrere Taizé-Andachten in der Altkatholischen Auferstehungs-Kirche (Ökumeneplatz) anbieten.
Begleitend gibt es eine geleitete Song Practice für alle Interessierten, einen Bericht eines Permanents vom Leben in Taizé, eine offene stille Kirche und ein Gesprächsangebot der beiden Pastoren unserer Gemeinden.
Wir freuen uns sehr, dass zu diesem Anlass zwei Brüder aus Taizé bei uns sein werden: Frère Alois (Prior der Communauté) und Frère Richard.

BERICHT: EIN JAHR ALS FREIWILLIGER IN TAIZÉ
Am Freitag, 02. September, von 14 — 16 Uhr, im Gemeindesaal neben der Kirche: Janosch Alze hat zwischen 2021 und 2022 ein Jahr lang als Permanent in Taizé gelebt und gearbeitet. Er gibt einen Überblick über seine Zeit dort und zeigt einige Eindrücke. Anschließend sollen die Fragen aus dem Publikum den weiteren Verlauf und die näheren Themen bestimmen. Alle, die sich für Taizé interessieren, haben hier die Gelegenheit, aus erster Hand viele Infos über das Leben in und bei der Communauté zu bekommen. Sprache je nach Publikum: Deutsch oder Englisch. Herzliche Einladung an alle!
SONG PRACTICE
Am Sonntag, 04. September, von 14 — 16 Uhr ist im Gemeindesaal neben der Kirche eine Song Practice (angeleitet auf Deutsch und Englisch), um Gesänge für die abends stattfindende Nacht der Lichter einzuüben. Herzliche Einladung an alle!
WHAT IT’S ABOUT
From August 31th - September 08th, the 11th General Assembly of the World Council of Churches (WCC) will take place in Karlsruhe.
In long-established oecumenical cooperation between the Old Catholic Church and the protestant Karl Friedrich Church, Taizé prayers will be held on several evenings in the Old Catholic Church (Ökumeneplatz).
There is also a guided song practice for anyone who is interested, a volunteer report on life in Taizé, an open church and a counseling offer of the two pastors of our congregations.
We are very happy that two brothers from Taizé will be with us for the occasion: Brother Alois (prior of the community) and Brother Richard.

Friday, Sept. 2nd, at 8:30 p.m
Saturday, Sept. 3th, at 8:30 p.m
Sunday, Sept. 4th at 8:30 p.m: Night of Lights, with a meditation by Brother Alois, Prior of Taizé

A warm welcome to everyone! The prayers are multilingual, the focus is on the well-known meditative songs from Taizé, on prayer and silence.
OPEN CHURCH DURING THE DAY AS A PLACE OF SILENCE / COUNSELING OFFER
Between September 2nd and 6th, during the day from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (Saturday and Sunday: 12:00 p.m. — 8:00 p.m.), the church will be a room of silence for everyone who is looking for a quiet moment. During the same time, there is the opportunity to talk to the pastors of our two churches (in German, English and French) in the parish hall next to the church.
REPORT: A WHOLE YEAR IN TAIZÉ AS A VOLUNTEER
On Friday, September 2nd, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m, in the community hall next to the church: Janosch Alze lived and worked as a permanent volunteer in Taizé for a year between 2021 and 2022. He gives an overview of his time there and shows some impressions. Then the questions from the audience should determine the further course and the closer topics. Everyone who is interested in Taizé has the opportunity to get first-hand information about life in and around the community. Language depending on audience: German or English. A warm invitation to all!
SONG PRACTICE
On Sunday, September 4th, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m, there will be a song practice (instructed in German and English) in the parish hall next to the church to practice singing for the Night of Lights that takes place in the evening. A warm welcome to all!

Song Practice am 21. August 2022 | Karl-Friedrich-Gemeinde
Am 21. August findet für alle, die möchten, eine gemeinsame Song Practice in der Karl-Friedrich-Gemeinde statt: Wir üben Gesänge aus Taizé in den verschiedenen Stimmen, und feiern im Anschluss die Taizé-Andacht in der Karl-Friedrich-Gedächtniskirche.
Diese Gesänge möchten wir auch in der Nacht der Lichter am 04. September einbringen.
